Hello!
Over my independent study time for Tuesday and Wednesday, I managed to achieve a fair amount. I revised for today's Maths mock in preparation for next week and completed my Maths resubmission work for U26_A4T1, T2 and T3.
Our starter today was to look at how we can improve our definitions for terminologies. We have learnt that it is imperative we do not re-use the actual keyword within the definition. This linked with the next task which was to identify the definitions of: relevant, accurate and suitable. These words are apart of U03_A3T1 and I believe this was a decent starter. A strength was being able to understand everything thus far.
Afterwards, we had a quick Kahoot quiz made by Adam. Matthew T was supposed to make the quiz but he was busy with a lot of English work. The quiz was about the current unit overall (U03). I came second, behind Adam M. The next person to make the quiz is Alex W - though he did not lose, he was specifically chosen.
Everyone then worked on U03_A3T1. I managed to start and complete this task. The task was about how relevant, accurate and suitable data can help a business make an informed decision. In addition to this, I also wrote about what data makes it unsuitable and two additional questions suggestions for improvement. I used the SurveyMonkey data that Adam gathered earlier.
With little to no outstanding work, I submitted to Emily after checking a comment on the track changes and then went through the actual methods of multiplying and dividing binary number systems in preparation for the Mock later. An inspiration is Emily because she helped me identify my improvements.
After lunch, Emily recapped everything we need to know about conversion from binary to decimal to octal to hexidecimal. We even practised on each section for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. A strength was being able to get a lot correct and that is due to my revision and Emily's support.
As of now, I am updated in every aspect. I will await for tomorrow for new work! I'll be doing art.
